There's a bird singing outside my window - despite the cold and the wet of our weird winter.
That's a good reason to want to stop climate change.
(To emphasize, these are the shifts we have to be concerned with - because when it comes to protecting species from extinction, our record is not very good, even considering the people who lead geese with airplanes.)
Preventing climate change is the right thing to do - and getting more urgent all the time.
Update: It might not have been a bird anyway. What's that say about our world?
